Are you looking for an easy recipe for breakfast that takes very minimal planning. I’ve got one for you that you kids will love. Just pick up a box of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies on your next trip to Target and you can make these No-Bake Granola Bars. These No-Bake Granola Bars are super easy to fit into your morning routine. There is no advance planning necessary! You can mix the ingredients in 10 minutes, put them in the refrigerator, take a quick shower and then they are done and ready to eat. These are great for an on-the-go breakfast too!
No-Bake Granola Bars
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup honey
1/8 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 cups quick oats
1 cup Kellogg’s Rice Krispies
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
In bowl add oats and Kellogg’s Rice Krispies, mix well and set aside.
In small saucepan add brown sugar, honey, butter, and peanut butter. Cook on medium heat until it starts to bubble, then cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and add to dry ingredients and mix together.
Press the mixture into a small jelly roll pan that is lined with plastic wrap. Make sure to press down really well so that is stays together once it cools. You will not fill the entire pan, it will probably be about 1/2 full.
Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and lightly press into mixture. Place in refrigerator to let them cool for about 15 minutes. Cut and enjoy.
Be sure to check out Kellogg’s Back to School packaging and great on-pack offers in store at Target! You will find the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies and other favorite Kellogg’s cereals in the breakfast/cereal aisle at your local Target store.
What a fun idea for a granola bar! I could definitely see these being useful on busy weekday mornings! #client
