Decorated Flower Pot – Teacher Gift

National Teacher Appreciation Day is just around the corner. This decorated flower pot is a fun way to say thank you to that special teacher in you and your child’s life.
You’ll need:
- plastic planter (found in Target’s outdoor section)
- gold metallic Sharpie
- kraft stickers from the Target Dollar Spot
- toothpick
- flower
Use the Sharpie to decorate the planter however you’d like. I decided to write “Teachers plant seeds that grow for a lifetime” on the front and mark the rest of it with dots. When you’re finished decorating, transfer the flower into the pot.
The metallic sharpies are a lot of fun to play with. It’s a little difficult to tell in pictures, but the gold shines beautifully!
Write a short note on a kraft paper sticker. Place a toothpick between two like shapes and you’ll be able to easily stick it in the dirt.
Now you have a thoughtful and easy to make gift ready for your favorite teacher!
