Patriotic Candle Holder

I was so excited to see our Dollar Spot still had plenty of patriotic decor left. If you’re having a 4th of July get together you’ll definitely want to check it out for party supplies and decorations. Last year I made these flag centerpieces. I wanted something just as easy to put together this year so I decorated this glass candle holder.
You’ll need:
- glass candle holder ($5 from Dollar Spot)
- gel clings ($1 from Dollar Spot)
- flameless candle
- glass cleaner and towel
Prep the glass candle holder by cleaning it first. Give it a chance to dry.
Gently peel off the gel clings from the sheet.
Lay the candle holder on its side and place the gel clings on the inside of the glass. I found a few different styles of gel clings while I was at Target, but I love stars so that’s what I went with. I used about a sheet and a half of gel clings.
Put the candle inside of the holder. You can use a regular candle as long as you don’t plan on lighting it. I’m using an LED candle so that I can light it up without the heat or fire hazard.
It’s so easy and looks awesome! After the 4th of July I can peel off the gel clings and place them back in the package to save them for next year. The glass lantern and flameless candle can be used as decor all year long too!
