I also like to get creative and come up with recipes of my own. Here is what I did to make these Cherry Tarts with the help of Honey Bunches of Oats cereal. I love the crust on these, the Honey Bunches of Oats gives it a sweet flavor and I love the crispness.

Cherry Tarts (makes 4 tarts)

Crust:

2 cups Post Honey Bunches of Oats cereal
4 TBSP melted butter

Filling:

1 can of cherry pie filling

Topping:

3/4 cup Post Honey Bunches of Oats
4 Tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour

In a food processor blend the 2 cups of Honey Bunches of Oats until it is fine crumbs. Add melted butter and press into the bottom of your small tart pans. Add cherry pie filling onto the top of the crust. Set aside.

To make topping add cereal, melted butter, brown sugar and flour and mix together. Add a generous amount on top of each tart.

Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
