Here is what reader Sara got. “I saved about 56% yesterday at Target. Some of my favorite deals were $1.00 chocolate, Aquafresh $.85, Wet Ones $.89, and I got lucky with the chapstick deal. I found packs of 4 (marked 3 plus one free) that were included in the gift card deal. I figured it made it $0.33 cents per stick! Looking forward to next week!”

Here’s what Wendy had to say: “Woohoo! Found the Levi’s Denizen shorts my boys have been wanting 70% off today! Bought 4 pair of shorts ($5.38 each)!”

Nicky found a great clearance deal on batteries. “Super cheap batteries at Target! 70% off 8-packs AAA. Marked to $2.68, I used 2 of the $1/1 coupons from a prior battery pack. These are Ultra Duracell, so even better. I paid $1.68 each – plus these come with coupon books – one coupon is a $1/2 Puffs! That will come nice for a drugstore deal considering they don’t expire until 2014.

There is also a .75/1 coupon in the 7/28 P&G if you do not have a $1/1.”

Nicky also found the Scotch Expressions tape on clearance. “Found a sweet deal on Scotch Expressions at Target (located in scrapbook aisle). 50% off, were $1.48. I used 4 of the $1/1 coupons (SS a few weeks ago). .48 each PLUS there is a 10% off Cartwheel! An additional .58 taken off, so I paid $1.34 for all four!”
