Check out the Target Exclusive Spot It! Fire & Ice Game

I am sure you have noticed the toy and game section at Target is starting to fill up with brand new toys and games. There is a new game that can be found exclusively at Target that I wanted to share with you today. It’s called Spot it! Fire & Ice and it is made by Blue Orange Games. Blue Orange Games is a great company. I love that they put thought into creating their games with the following:
- Choosing durable, feel-good materials, we pledge to produce games that last through generations and create cherished moments.
- Designed to be easy to learn and to build upon important skills, our games invite families to unplug for hours of good old-fashioned fun.
- Respect for the environment is a priority and we are committed to planting two trees for each one used to create our wooden games.
If you are familiar with the popular Spot it! game this plays very similar but adds some fun new twists, hence the name Fire & Ice. If you spot a matching fire symbol you have 10 seconds to play all by yourself and spot at many matches as you can. Watch out, because a fellow player can “freeze” your solo play if they spot and ice match. It adds a fun variation to the game! It’s great that this game also comes with 3 different versions of play so you switch things up!
One of the things I love most about this game is that is self contained, all of the cards fit inside the countdown timer, which makes it super easy to take along with you anywhere. You can easily throw it in your purse, backpack or beach bag to make for a great game on the go.
I also love that this game is for 2-8 players. I find a lot of games have a limit of 6 players and with a family of 7 that usually means somebody has to sit out which is no fun at all! The game is for ages 8 to adult, but I could see younger kids playing it too.
Next time you head into Target check for this new Spot it! Fire & Ice game, because it’s the only place you will be able to find it. I’m all about shopping early, so it may even make a great Christmas gift (you will just have to remember where you hide it).
This post was sponsored by Blue Orange games. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I put a lot of thought into the companies I work with and I knew this game would be a perfect fit for my blog…it’s exclusively at Target and our family LOVES games.
