The Bathery at Target

I picked up a few of the items from The Bathery® line at Target so I could put together a fun beauty gift basket for one of my friends.   I love that The Bathery® carries many items that make your favorite beauty brands work harder like scrub brushes, poufs, loofahs, pumice and more.   I also love the fact that the products come in either bright fun or natural colors so you will find a color that suits everyone. With gifts from The Bathery®, you can encourage everyone on your list to Live Laugh Lather® this holiday season.

Homemade Lemon Sugar Body Scrub

I wanted to make some homemade bath products to gift with the Bath Body Sponge, 4-in-1 Foot Wand and the  Exfoliating Gentle Bath Cloth I picked up.   I started with a Lemon Sugar Bath Scrub.  I thought the bright yellow would compliment the bright fun colors of The Bathery products.

ingredients for Lemon Sugar Body Scrub

Here is the recipe of the Lemon Sugar Body Scrub, it’s super easy to make and only takes 3 ingredients!

  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil
  • 1 Lemon

Pour sugar into a bowl and squeeze in the juice from the lemon.   Mix in the coconut oil and that is all there is to do.   I told you is was super easy!   Add to a jar and attach a label.

Peppermint Bath Salt in plastic ornament

To make the basket have more of a Christmas theme to it I decided to Make Peppermint Bath Salt and add them to plastic ornaments that I picked up at the craft store.   The ornaments I used were flat on one side (for a photo), but you could use the ornaments that are round all the way around too.

I separated the bath salt into equal amounts and used some food coloring to make 1/2 of it pink.   When I added the bath salt to the ornament I used a funnel and layered white and then pink.

Ingredients Peppermint Bath Salt

Making the Peppermint Bath Salt is easy too, here is the recipe:

  • 1 cup Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 cup Coarse Sea Salt
  • 1/4 cup Baking Soda
  • 4 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
  • Red food coloring

Mix the Epsom Salt, Sea Salt and Baking Soda in a bowl. Add 4 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil and mix well. If you want to color the mix, add red food coloring to either all or 1/2 of the mix. I chose to add it to 1/2 and then layered the colors in the containers.

The Bathery Gift Basket contents

  • The Bathery® Exfoliating Gentle Bath Cloth
  • Homemade Lemon Sugar Body Scrub
  • Homemade Peppermint Bath Salt (in ornaments)

The Bathery Gift Basket

I took a look around Target in different departments to come up with an idea for gift basket.  The basket I used was actually found in the kids storage department.   I also found several other options in the regular storage section and I even found some cool jars in the kitchen department.

The Bathery Gift Tag

I finished off the gift with a printable gift tag from The Bathery®.   You can print The Bathery® gift tags for FREE to attach to your gift baskets too.

Attach ornament filled with bath salt to The Bathery Bath Cloth

Here’s another idea if you are looking for a smaller gift, you can attach one of the homemade Peppermint Bath Salt ornaments to The Bathery® Exfoliating Bath Cloth.   This would be something simple you could gift to neighbors, coworkers or friends.  My teenage daughter wants to give them out to her friends too.
