We used an Ugly Christmas Sweater Kit from Target.com to make my daughter an ugly Christmas Sweater for all the fun Christmas activities she’s attending this year. My daughter was just a little giddy when she found out she could make her own ugly Christmas sweater, she told me she has always wanted one! She even has an ugly sweater day coming up at school, so she will be set!
The Make your own Ugly Christmas Sweater Kit comes with a sweater and lots of fun (and slightly tacky) goodies to decorate your sweater. Absolutely everything you need is included, it even includes the thread, needle and glue. The kit even includes some googly eyes, because all ugly sweaters must have googly eyes. You only need to provide scissors and your imagination.
Before we attached everything to the sweater my daughter laid out a design that made her happy. She is excited that her sweater is going to “jingle” thanks the the jingle bells included in the kit. I was impressed with the quality of the sweater and even the glue that came with the kit. It nice and strong the the attached items won’t be falling off.
Here is her finished Ugly Christmas Sweater. We had fun working on this together, I think it would make e a fun activity for the whole family.
