  1. In WA state, the cost would actually be 3.94/each if you include tax. Our most excellent tax code (insert sarcasm here) calculates the 9.5% tax on the pre-coupon price. I always have to include the cost of tax because it can sometimes make a hefty difference and can drive the difference in what I buy (in this example, a lotion that costs < $3.60 with no coupons is a better deal).

Of course, if BB is your go-to lotion, then this is a good deal 🙂

  2. @Brooke. I am in WA state too, but since I have readers all over the US it doesn’t make sense to include the tax in the match-ups, since everyones tax rate is different.

I totally agree with you, you do have to factor in the tax though, it can really make a difference.

    1. The fine print on the Target coupons usually state only one per transaction, and my store will only allow me to use one. I want to make sure the match-ups I post will work for everyone, so I just list one Target coupon per match-up.

  3. Our store lets us use one target coupon and one manufactures coupon per item. That is actually what it says on their website as well.

    1. @Jennifer It is true that Target will allow you to use 1 Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item. However, there are limits in place, they only allow 4 “like” manufacturer coupons, and some stores only allow “1” like Target store coupon per transaction.
