DIY Wood Sled Photo Display

I love finding unique ways to display my photos. This little red sled was too cute to pass up. It also fits a 4×6 photo perfectly! This DIY is oh so easy and will make for a lovely way to display your winter photos.
You’ll need:
- mini sled ($5 from Bullseye’s Playground)
- battery operated led lights ($3 from Bullseye’s Playground)
- metal clips ($3 from Bullseye’s Playground)
- 2 AA batteries
- super glue
- tape
- picture hanging strips or hook and loop tape
Put in the batteries for the lights. Decide where you’re going to place it on the back of the sled and only tape down part of the wire for now.
Wrap the lights around the sled. Start from the bottom of one side and work your way around until you get to the opposite side.
Tuck the end of the lights into the sled.
You want to attach the battery compartment to the back of the sled and still have access to open it. I used a picture hanging strip but Velcro or any other type of hook and loop tape will work here.
Attach the metal clip to the front of the sled using a strong glue.
It will comfortably fit a picture that is 4×6 or smaller. It’s a fun piece even without the lights, but I can’t help but love how they look when they’re on.
The sled is ready to hang on the wall, or prop it up to display it alongside the rest of your winter decorations.
