Sometimes you find something new at Target and it’s just so cool, you have to talk about it. Sous vide cooking is almost completely hands-free; just season, seal, and submerge. Instead of focusing on getting the timing just right, sous vide is all about precise temperature control. Cooking this way usually requires large, expensive equipment, but with this device, it’s way less complicated – and way less expensive! All you have to do is attach the device to your basin of water, set your desired temperature and cook time in the app, and you’re good to go! The device will circulate the water in and out of itself, maintaining the perfect temperature for cooking, so it’s almost impossible to undercook or overcook your food.

This technique is most commonly used for proteins like steak and chicken, but you can also poach potatoes, eggs, and other veggies!
