I have been using an Oral-B rechargeable toothbrush for years now and I recently upgraded to the Oral-B GENIUS Rose Gold 8000. The Oral-B GENIUS Rose Gold 8000 is beautiful and intelligent! It has so many great features like 6 modes: Daily Clean, Gum Care, Sensitive, Whitening, Tongue Cleaner, and ProClean. The 3D Cleaning Action oscillates, rotates, and pulsates to break up and remove plaque. Plus, I think the rose gold is such a pretty color!
The Oral-B GENIUS 8000 has Bluetooth technology, so you can download the app and it will recognize your toothbrush with just the press of a button. You can customize your experience by choosing a color for the Smart Ring on you toothbrush. I chose blue.
The handy Oral-B app can do several things, it has a timer so it can time how long you brush your teeth, it will even detect when you stop brushing. This would be a great feature for kids, because they often don’t brush for a full two minutes.
It tells you when you reach your goal of brushing for 2 minutes, flossing, cleaning your tongue and rinsing. Look at that, I’m an overachiever, I brushed for an extra 2 seconds.
The toothbrush comes with a Smartphone holder that you can attach to your bathroom mirror. The Oral-B app also includes Position Detection that helps you brush every area for the right amount of time, so you never miss a zone. You can even share brushing data with your dentist or hygienist and have them input customized guidance into the app! That is pretty genius!
I love the fact that the Oral-B GENIUS 8000 includes a travel case, and it’s pretty travel case too!
The case is a Smart Travel Case that allows you to charge your toothbrush and phone with just one plug.
Your toothbrush will charge while laying in the case. Just attach a USB cord to the case and you can charge your phone too. This will come in handy when outlets are limited at hotels. We have a large family and there never seems to be enough outlets for all of us to charge our devices. I’m fairly certain I need to book a tropical vacation to really test this feature out.
