Here is your Target Weekly Clearance Update with a big focus on toys and a few other departments that have a larger amount of markdowns. There is a chance we will see a good majority of the clearance toys get marked down to 70% off on Thursday, January 12th. I’m really thinking that Target may be mixing things up this year and not marking everything down at once. There is also a chance we won’t see another markdown until next Thursday, we just never know until it happens.
Keep in mind you may not find the exact same deals at your store, clearance does vary by location. First up, here are a bunch of clearance toys. This will give you a decent idea of what to look for when you head to the store. All of these photos were taken at my store in Federal Way, WA.
These toys currently range from 30-70% off. In the past when the 70% off markdown has happened toys have been known to go from 30% off straight to 70% off.
Don’t forget the baby department has some clearance deals that are 50%-70% off. If your store didn’t go 70% off last Monday, I would maybe check in this coming Monday to see if the markdown has taken place. It should happen soon.

There were a couple of stroller and car seats at 50% off.
Don’t forget to check the cosmetics there is still a decent amount of clearance there and I feel like we should see it hit 70% off in the next week or two.
Most stores I have been to have a large selection of sunblock on clearance. These were currently 50% off.
It appears as if they are clearing out almost all the cosmetic bags to make way for new prints and styles. I adore all the Orla Kiely bags. These would make great gifts if you can find them when they hit 70% off.
Another great department to watch for clearance is the luggage. This is how we buy all our luggage, we wait for a 70% off clearance sale at Target.
