Personalized Gift Bags with Target Clearance (and my Cricut machine)

I love shopping Target for great clearance deals, but I love it even more when I can use the clearance items to put together some great gifts! Here are three gifts my daughter and I put together for some of her friends. Each gift bag was made with a muslin bag that I picked up for only $.30 at one of the Target Dollar Spot clearance sales. I used my Cricut to make the iron-on images for each bag. I love my Cricut machine almost as much as I love kidless strolls down the aisles of Target.
In addition to the inexpensive gift bags the majority of the items inside the bags are inexpensive items we picked up at Target either on clearance or with coupons. Here is a peek into each bag:
We made this bag for a Disney music lover. Inside the bag we’ve added Sony headphones that I picked up at 70% off. They were $2.98 (reg $9.99). We also included a $10 iTunes gift card that I picked up at 10% off. I love keeping these gift cards on hand for birthdays and holidays.
Here is a close up of the bag. I used the following to make the image:
- Cricut Iron-On (black)
- Cricut Iron-on (red glitter)
- Disney licensed images from Cricut
Next up me made a bag that would be perfect for pretty much anyone! We put a cup of hot cocoa on the front and on the inside we included gloves, hot cocoa packet and some candy canes. This gift cost about $4.00. You could do it even cheaper if you used less expensive hot cocoa and found a super deal on the gloves. I plan to buy some gloves on clearance after Christmas this year so I can make more of these next year.
Supplies for the cocoa bag are
This bag was super inexpensive to put together, it came in under $2.00. The eye shadow and lipstick were FREE with coupons, the Goody hair elastics were from a Target Beauty Box and I paid under $1 for the Baby Lips. The mirror compact was 90% off during a previous year’s Christmas clearance.
The picture doesn’t show it real well, but the lips are made with a rose gold foil and I just love how it turned out. It’s super cute! Supplies used
- Cricut Iron-On (charcoal)
- Cricut Iron-on (rose gold foil)
- Make up image from Love SVG
I won’t hesitate to pick up more of these bags when they go on clearance again. It was quick and easy to dress them up and I love how they are personalized for each person. If you are interested in a Cricut machine, make sure you check out the current Cricut sales and coupon codes.
This is soo cute. I am going to make some for my kids hehe.
