We’re sharing a fun holiday recipe for Holly Jolly Punch that includes Canada Dry Ginger Ale.
Holly Jolly Punch:
- Canada Dry Ginger Ale
- 1 oz Cherry Syrup
- Lime Sorbet
- Maraschino Cherries
Fill a glass 2/3 full of Canada Dry Ginger Ale, and add one oz of cherry syrup or juice. Add a scoop of lime sorbet, drop in a cherry or two. Enjoy!
Sometimes you need a simple treat that looks homemade but doesn’t really take a ton of time, and these Dipped Holiday Sandwich Cookies fit the bill.
- 1 package Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
- 1 bag of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 bag of white chips
- Holiday Sprinkles
Using a double broiler melt chocolate stirring constantly. Dip chocolate sandwich cookies into melted chocolate. Place on wax paper and add sprinkles. Let the chocolate set and you are done.
Once you’ve got your party food taken care of you’ll need to work on the table. I like to keep things simple and festive by using paper products like Vanity Fair® Napkins and holiday themed Dixie Ultra® paper plates. Nobody wants to be doing the dishes during the holidays! You can pick these up at Target while you are getting the food and drinks for your festivities.
I like to use real silverware and wrap it up in one of the Vanity Fair napkins. The Vanity Fair napkins work perfectly because of their larger size. To keep them all together I used some garland that I picked up from the Target Dollar Spot and wrapped it around each set. I love how elegant it looks and it was so easy to put together.
I loved this print on the Dixie paper plates, it fit my theme perfectly. They have several different holiday patterns to choose from so matching your theme should be easy.
I wanted to send my guests home with a treat so I made these reindeer bags and filled each one with a hot cocoa packet and candy cane. Once again, I kept things simple, making these was a breeze and I had them finished in no time.
Here’s what you need:
- Small Paper Bags (plain or a print)
- Red Pom Poms
- Wood Clips/Clothespins
- Googly Eyes
I used Glue Dots to attach the nose and eyes to the bag. I slid in the hot cocoa and candy cane and closed them up with the wood clips so they resemble their antlers.
I put a bucket of the gifts on the table so everyone could take one when they left.
