It’s important to take care of your teeth and I’m sure you have a special place where you keep your toothbrush and all your dental care products. Why not have a place to keep you dog’s dental care too! I made these containers where we keep Bailey’s dental care treats, so we make sure to give them to her every day.

I was instructed by my vet to give our dog dental care treats on a daily basis because they help take care of her teeth and gums.  We’ve been giving Bailey the Milk-Bone Brushing Chews as her daily dental treat.  The Milk-Bone Brushing Chews use scrubbing action to help reduce tartar build-up on her teeth, they also help to maintain healthy gums and freshen her breath.  Right now, you can save 15% on the Milk-Bone Brushing Chews at Target with Cartwheel.

The Milk-Bone Brushing Chews have a patented design with Nubs & Ridges that help to clean your dogs teeth just likes the bristles on a toothbrush. Thanks to the Twist Design, it helps clean the hard to reach back teeth and down to the gum line.  The Brushing Chews are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals, like calcium which helps to support strong teeth and bones.

You will find a Milk-Bone Brushing Chew in the following sizes, you can find just the right one for your dog:

  • Mini for dogs 5-24 lbs
  • Small/Medium for dogs 25-49 lbs
  • Large for dogs over 50 lbs

You can pick up the Milk-Bone Brushing Chews at Target in the pet aisle or online at Target.com.  You can save 20% on the Milk-Bone Brushing Chews with the Cartwheel offer in your Target app.  The Cartwheel  savings is valid through June 29. The new bags of Milk-Bone Brushing Chews contain 20% more than the previous packaging.

Here is how I made the jars to store her Milk-Bone Brushing Chews, it’s super easy!   I took two glass containers, one of which was a basic canning jar.

To decorate the jars I used a Sharpie paint pen.  You can use a stencil to paint the image.  I cut out the circular dog paw image and my dog’s name with my Cricut and then use the marker to paint it.

On the second jar I just used the pen to draw paw prints by freehand.   Another design option is to add stickers and trace around them with the paint pen.   Milk-Bone shaped dog treats would be cut on the jars too.

I’m super happy with how they turned out and I love that fact that they were quick and easy to make.   The kids can help with this project too!

To your dog a favor and pick up the Milk-Bone Brushing Chews at Target and don’t forget to save yourself some money by using the 15% off Cartwheel offer in theTarget app.
